LOCATION

Rivers Bend Farm is located in the gorgeous rolling hills of the Catskills in Jefferson, New York. It is about 2.5 hours from New York City, 1 hour from Albany, and a little over 2 hours from Syracuse. Set back in a beautiful valley, we offer a secluded and tranquil space that is only accessible by a private bridge. We are set on 100 acres of private land that borders another 10,000 acres of state land.

BOOKINGS & AVAILABILITY 

We operate events from May through mid October. You may host  a farewell brunch with your loved ones for an additional site fee.  During weekdays, we may be available for private events and elopements for weddings. A 30% deposit is due at signing in order to hold your event date. All deposits and monies collected are non-refundable after 7 days from the signed contract date.

CEREMONY & RECEPTION LOCATIONS 

The main space for your ceremony and reception includes the barn, the bluestone patio, and the pond. The pond is a naturally beautiful landscape for your ceremony. A tent can be added to the backside for larger receptions.

 

BRIDE & GROOM SUITES

The Bridal Suite is conveniently located on the second floor of the barn, our mid-century modern barn loft is a gorgeous fully furnished loft with a full kitchen and cedar bathroom. The bride and her bridesmaids can hang out, relax, dress, and get their hair and make up done.

The Groomsman Suite located in our brand new modern-rustic cabin is set on top of the hill that overlooks the main venue space and offers stunning views of the Catskill mountains. It is fully furnished with a kitchen, cozy loft, bathroom, and outside deck. The Groom and his groomsman can use this as a getting ready space the day of the wedding.

 A list of nearby lodging will be provided should you choose to book with us.

COORDINATION & PLANNING

We provide in house day of coordination for a fixed rate to allow for a seamless pre-planning process and wedding weekend since we know our venue best!  We also provide a preferred vendor list, final floor plans and assistance with your wedding timeline.  We also offer extended wedding planning services.

CATERERS AND OTHER VENDORS 

You will receive a list of local and preferred vendors, including caterers, when you book with us. Restroom trailers are required for events with over 50 guests. All vendors and caterers must adhere to Rivers Bend Farm policies and are responsible for cleaning up their respective areas. It is also the clients responsibility to ensure all their hired vendors are aware of and abide by our policies.

INSURANCE

All events must take out their own general liability insurance listing Rivers Bend Farm Weddings and Events, Inc as additionally insured. All vendors must also submit current proof of insurance. 

​

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

There is a designated parking lot for both guests and vendors. It is a short walk to the reception area. We will pass along options for local transportation to and from the venue.

CANCELLATIONS & POSTPONEMENTS 

You may receive a 100% refund of any monies collected within 7 days of cancelling from the signed contract date. Beyond 7 days, all deposits are non-refundable. Postponements are based on availability, must be rescheduled within one year of original date, and 75% payment is required and non-refundable.

STATE SALES TAX 

All events are subject to 8% New York State Sales Tax.
